State Police say wet weather could be a factor in a two-vehicle collision that left one driver dead and the other driver injured. The accident happened Wednesday afternoon on US 60 (Lexington Road) in Clark County.
Lexington Police say they're looking for a light blue, older model pickup truck that hit a gas meter, which led to the evacuation of an apartment building in the 1900 block of Oxford Circle Sunday night.
Six people were injured Thursday night on I-75 when a pickup truck driver lost control on the wet road and collided with a service truck that was working on a tractor trailer on the shoulder of the interstate, according to the Laurel County Sheriff's Office.
Investigators said Jamie Peters, 24, of Baltimore, Maryland, was hit and killed Friday afternoon along Cincinnati Pike in Scott County. Peters was one of five cyclists riding cross country to raise money for young adult cancer victims.
