LPD: Pickup hit gas meter; apartment building evacuated

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – Lexington Police say they’re looking for a light blue, older model pickup truck that hit a gas meter Sunday evening that led to the evacuation of an apartment building.

Police say it was reported around 9:30 p.m., at 1901 Oxford Circle.  The Lexington Fire Department also responded to the scene where investigators say just under 20-people were evacuated as a precaution.
