State Police say 30-year old Billy Ferguson of West Liberty, was arrested at the state prison in Morgan County where he works as a correctional officer. He was charged with assault, unlawful imprisonment and official misconduct, according to the Big Sandy Correctional Institute website.

London police accused a man of raping a boy during a Laurel County history camp. Gregory A. Swartz, 37, was charged with Rape 1st Degree and Assault 4th Degree.

Update: Arrest Made In Eastern Kentucky Murder

State Police said a Johnson County man was arrested Thursday in connection to the murder of Christina Barnett, 34, of Sitka. Her body was found in Knott County a month ago.
