A severe thunderstorm watch has been issued for the entire viewing area until 6 PM and a flash flood watch has been issues for most of our viewing area until Midnight tonight. The cold front that will finally give us some relief from the high heat indexes will also give us a chance of strong to severe thunderstorms this afternoon and evening. As soon as it passes the threat will diminish and leave us with a good looking weekend.
