A second disaster recovery center is opening in Louisville on Monday for people who need assistance following storms last month. The new center will be at Beechmont Community Center. The other Louisville center is on Preston Highway.
The Franklin County Sheriff’s Office says there has been another bourbon theft from a famous distillery but investigators say it’s too early to know if it is tied to an unsolved 2013 theft of Pappy Van Winkle Bourbon.
After a five hour stand off, law enforcement took Samuel Isaacs into custody to question him about shooting a teenage boy. Isaacs has been charged with first degree assault and two counts of endangerment.
