UPDATE: Fingerprints confirm identity of murder victim

SUMMERSHADE, Ky. (WTVQ) – The State Medical Examiner’s Office used fingerprint comparisons to confirm the identity of a Metcalfe County murder victim, according to State Police.

Investigators say the victim was 30-year old Bobby L. Hubert, of Summershade.

State Police say Hubert got into an argument with a roommate who shot and killed him on August 14, 2017.

46-year old Bobbie Lawson was arrested Monday and lodged in the Metcalfe County Jail, according to KSP.  He’s charged with Murder, Tampering with Physical Evidence and Abuse of a Corpse, according to State Police.
