TRAFFIC ALERT: Asphalt repairs on I-75 in Scott Co.

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet says that asphalt repair work is scheduled for Interstate 75 in Scott County.

Certain areas of the interstate will be pared down to one lane.

The schedule of repair is as follows:

Wednesday, August 12 and Thursday, August 13

10:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. daytime

  • MP 126.4 – southbound right/slow lane
  • MP 124 – southbound right/slow lane
  • MP 122.8 – southbound center lane
  • MP 121.17 – southbound left/fast and center lanes on the Cane Run Bridge
  • MP 121.55 – northbound right/slow lane
  • Repairs will be completed for the southbound Rest Area Off and On Ramps
  • Repairs will be completed for the southbound Off End of the Quarry Bridge

Thursday, August 13

7:00 p.m. until 11:00 p.m. Thursday evening

Two lane closures (southbound) will be in effect:

     • The left/fast and center lane between mile points 122.8 and 121.17
