Teonni Key selected 22nd overall in the WNBA draft to the Toronto Tempo
NEW YORK, Ny. (ABC 36 NEWS NOW) – Teonni Key is headed to Toronto after being selected 22nd overall in the second round two the WNBA draft on Monday evening.
Key played in 28 games this past season after dealing with a dislocated elbow she suffered against Missouri on Jan. 4.
She averaged 11.4 points and 7.5 rebounds per game during the 2025-26 season.
The 6-foot-5 forward transferred to Kentucky from North Carolina in 2024. In her first season with the Wildcats, she averaged 11.4 points and 8.3 rebounds per game.
