2025 WNBA No. 10 Overall Pick Ajša Sivka Commits to Kentucky for 2026–27

“LEXINGTON, Ky. (ABC 36 NEWS NOW) — Kenny Brooks and the Kentucky Wildcats picked up their biggest addition of the 2026–27 offseason so far on Wednesday with Slovenian guard Ajša Sivka.

Last season, playing for Joventut Badalona in Spain, Sivka averaged 8.4 points, 3.6 rebounds, and 1.0 assist per game.

Sivka was the 10th overall pick in the 2025 WNBA Draft by the Chicago Sky. She opted to stay in Europe last summer to play with the Slovenian national team instead of joining the Sky. The Sky will retain her rights if she decides to turn pro.

Sivka becomes the fourth non-high school addition to join the Wildcats this offseason. She joins Diana Collins (Alabama), Me’Arah O’Neal (Florida), and Ayanna Patterson (UConn).”
