Councilmember wants to lower Morehead’s EMS funding

A Morehead councilman says the city should lower its EMS contribution by $39,000. That's according to the The Morehead News. The paper says the city held a second reading this week on an ordinance to adopt the 2015-2016 fiscal year budget. It reports that councilman Tom Carew proposed a budget amendment that would cut some of the city's funding to Morehead-Rowan County EMS.
