State of Emergency declared in Bath Co. due to flooding
BATH COUNTY, Ky. (WTVQ)- A State of Emergency has been declared in Bath County due to damage from flash flooding Tuesday night.
According to emergency management officials communities spent most of Wednesday cleaning up from the damage that was left behind.
They are assessing damage to homes, roads and bridges.
According to Emergency Management at least 7-8 inches of rain dumped in certain areas of Bath County.
Officials say the communities that were affected are Bethel, East Fork and Oakley-Pebble.
