Man Accused Of Making Fake $20 Bills
Police arrest a man after they said he tried to pass a counterfeit $20 bill at a Lexington business.
According to court documents Jason Seavers, 36, entered the Baskin Robbins on North Locust Hill Monday and tried to buy something with the counterfeit bill.
Police said an employee called them.
When they arrived, they said the searched Seavers’ car and found 32 counterfeit $20 bills still uncut and in a box.
They said they also found a printer with a $20 bill taped to the scanner.
The documents said Seavers admitted the bills were his.
He’s scheduled to be arraigned Tuesday.
