2016 Empty Bowls event seeks to raise awareness of local hunger

Students, potters, and the public will come together on Wednesday, March 30 to raise awareness of local hunger needs at the annual "Empty Bowls" event and meal. The event will take place from 5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Commons, located in the Woods-Penniman Building on the Berea College campus.

Vandy scholarship honors student & veteran killed in Tel Aviv

A new scholarship at Vanderbilt University has been created honoring Taylor Force, a first-year MBA student at the school and 2009 graduate of the U.S. Military Academy at West Point. Force was killed in a terrorist attack on March 8 in Tel Aviv, Israel.
