Vandy scholarship honors student & veteran killed in Tel Aviv
NASHVILLE, Tn. (WTVQ) – A new scholarship at Vanderbilt University has been created honoring Taylor Force, a first-year MBA student at the school and 2009 graduate of the U.S. Military Academy at West Point. Force was killed in a terrorist attack on March 8 in Tel Aviv, Israel.
The new scholarship will provide financial support to qualified students at the Vanderbilt Owen Graduate School of Management, with first preference given to graduates of the United States Military Academy at West Point. Second preference will be given to graduates of the United States Air Force Academy or the United States Naval Academy.
Force lived in Lexington for two years before starting his MBA program at Vanderbilt.
