Live concerts return to Moondance at Midnight Pass Amphitheater
LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – Live music of a wide variety returns to Moondance at Midnight Pass Amphitheatre for summer.
Big Band & Jazz returns Tuesday’s at Moondance Amphitheatre through July 2. Concerts begin at 7 P.M. The line-up is as follows:
May 25 – Dixieland South Jazz Band
June 1 – DiMartino, Osland Little Big Band
June 8 – Marlin McKay Quintet
June 15 – Tim Lake and the Jazz Blues Persuaders
June 22 – Ross Whitaker Jazz Trio
June 29 – Lexington Summer Concert Band *patriotic concert
July 2 – The Metrognomes *patriotic concert, special Friday show
Summer Nights in Suburbia returns to Moondance Amphitheatre on most Friday’s. The free concert includes jazz, bluegrass, indie rock, blues and folk genres. Food trucks will be on-site and announced soon, according to organizers. Attendees are encouraged to bring a lawn chair or blanket. Registration will be required in 2021 for each of the concerts and will open the week before each concert. Registration is available HERE.
Gates open at 5:30 P.M. with shows running from 7-9 P.M. The line-up is as follows:

Aug. 27 – Honeychild
Sept. 24 – C the Beat
The Southland Jamboree, a free Bluegrass Music Concert Thursday evenings at 7, returns to Moondance Amphitheatre starting June 17. According to organizers, food for purchase will be available from food trucks. The event is also cooler and picnic friendly. Attendees are encouraged to bring a lawn chair or a blanket.
