KU warns people of scams

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ)- Kentucky Utilities say customers are reporting scam activity, usually three or four a week, but they have had 40 scam reports today.

KU says scam artists are able to mimic their 1-800-981-0600, so it looks like KU is calling you.

KU says it never calls customers to ask for payments. They say one victim was scammed for nearly $800 in the Danville area.
