KSP: Traffic stop nets 75 pounds of marijuana

KUTTAWA, Ky. (WTVQ) – A man was arrested in Caldwell County after troopers say they found 75 pounds of marijuana in his vehicle during a traffic stop.

Officers say they pulled over the vehicle on Tuesday in Lyon for a traffic violation.  Investigators say they noted several indicators of criminal behavior while conducting the traffic stop, and subsequently searched the vehicle.

Troopers say during the search, they found marijuana edibles and over 75 pounds of high grade marijuana.

37-year-old Michael D. Wilson, of Edmonds, Washington, was arrested and charged with trafficking marijuana.

He was taken to the Caldwell County Jail.  A mugshot was not immediately available at the time of publication.
