Kentucky G Asia Boone to return for Senior season

LEXINGTON, Ky. (ABC 36 News Now) — Another Wildcat is returning to Lexington for her senior season, as Asia Boone announced on Thursday that she will be back for the 2026–27 season.

Boone played her first year for the Wildcats in 2025–26 after spending her first two seasons playing for the Liberty Flames.

As a junior, Boone started 19 of the 36 games she played, where she averaged 10.1 points per game and shot 36.5% from three-point range.

She joins Clara Strack as one of two Wildcats returning to Kentucky from last year’s starting lineup.
