Jessamine Co. Sheriff warns of resurfaced phone scam
JESSAMINE COUNTY, Ky. (WTVQ) – The Jessamine County Sheriff’s Office is warning residents about a scam that has resurfaced.
According to Chief Deputy Allen Peel, someone came to the office saying they received a random phone call telling them they had a warrant because they did not respond to a Jury duty notice.
Chief Deputy Peel tells everyone the Sheriff’s Office never calls people for that reason.
