Help for the homeless in cold weather

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) Several state and city crews are on duty, working to keep roads clear.

In Lexington, the city says crews will keep treating roads as long as the winter weather continues.

As for the cold temperatures, the city has activated its emergency weather plan, meaning shelters are making room for people who need a warm place to stay.

If you see someone you think might need that, you can call the Hopemobile at 859-252-7881 or the Compassionate Caravan at 859-255-0301.
