Heavy traffic expected for the annual Memorial Day Service at Camp Nelson

JESSAMINE COUNTY, Ky. (WTVQ) – On Monday expect heavy vehicle and pedestrian traffic in the area of Camp Nelson National Cemetery, according to officials.

They say the traffic impact will be along South US 27 between the hours of 9 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. because of the annual Memorial Day service at Camp Nelson.

According to the Jessamine County Sheriff’s Office, if you plan on going to the event there will be shuttle buses running from Camp Nelson Heritage Park to the cemetery.
