Grant Co. Deputies: Man Used Club To Beat Victims With Special Needs

Authorities locked down a school Wednesday in Grant County as deputies searched for a wanted man.

Investigators said Eric Unthank, 42, went to a home earlier in the day looking for his girlfriend.

According to deputies, Unthank used a club to beat six people in the home.

Five of the victims reportedly had special needs.

The sheriff’s office said Crittenden Mount Zion Elementary was put on lockdown as a precaution.

Deputies said they were still looking for Unthank.

He was described as 5’7" and 170lbs.

According to deputies, he was covered in tattoos, which included three triangles on the front of his neck.

Anyone with information in the case was asked to call 911.
