Gas Line break on West Main st., Lex.

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – According to Columbia Gas, construction crews damaged a main gas line on West Main street, near Triangle park. The break reportedly happened around 11:30 a.m., Tuesday, to a cast iron low-pressure main line.

Columbia Gas says their crews are currently on the scene, working to repair the line, though warn it may take a few hours.

Until then, traffic will likely be heavily congested in the area, and motorists may want to take alternate routes to their destination.
