Four Charged with Selling Counterfeit Items at 127 Yard Sale

Four people have been arrested and one other was cited in Anderson County after Lawrenceburg Police accused them of selling counterfeit goods at the US 127 yard sale.

According to officers, the suspects were caught setting up shop Saturday morning and had thousands of items for sale.

The items included knockoffs of Beats by Dre headphones, D&G purses, Under Armour shirts, Harley-Davidson sweatshirts, and comic books.

Among those arrested were Xue Li, Lang Zheng and Li Zhengwang. Police said the suspects admitted the items were fake; they were then charged with selling counterfeit goods and services totaling more than $100.

Qulu Li was cited on the same charge.

Police believe the suspects may be in the country illegally.
