Expect Strong to Severe T’storms in Central and Southeastern KY

Isolated thunderstorms are popping up this afternoon in the southeastern corner of the Bluegrass, but much bigger storms are expected to hit much of the state as we head into the late afternoon and early evening hours.

Most of central and southeastern Kentucky are under a Severe Thunderstorm Watch until 11pm tonight as a large cluster of strong to severe storms roll in from Indiana.

Gusty winds, hail and frequent lightning are possible with these storms, but no tornadoes are anticipated.
