Closures scheduled for I-75, I-64 in Fayette and Madison counties
LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet says that temporary closures are scheduled for Interstate 75 and Interstate 64 in Fayette County for bridge deck patching repairs.
The closures are as follows:
Monday, Sept. 21, 9:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m.
- The right/slow lane of southbound I-75 will be closed at mile point 97.784, by the Clays Ferry Bridge at the Fayette & Madison County line.
- Two lanes will remain open
Monday, Sept. 21 through Tuesday, Sept. 22, 8:00 p.m. Monday until 5:00 a.m. Tuesday
- The right/slow lane of southbound I-75 in Fayette County will be closed at mile point 117.970
- One lane will remain open
Monday, Sept. 21 through Tuesday, Sept. 22, 8:00 p.m. Monday until 5:00 a.m. Tuesday
- The Exit 75 Ramp from eastbound I-64 to northbound I-75 in Fayette County will be closed on the bridge located at mile point 117.690 (on the ramp.)
- Motorists will need to utilize Exit 115/Newtown Pike to access northbound I-75
