Body of missing Jessamine County man found Monday

NICHOLASVILLE, Ky. (WTVQ) – A missing Jessamine County man was found dead in the woods Monday behind a farm on Logana Pike, according to the Jessamine County coroner.

40-year old Shannon Miller had been missing since October 31, 2017.  His body was found by a search party out looking for him.

The coroner says he thinks Miller was walking through the woods on his way home when he collapsed and died.  The coroner hopes an autopsy will provide more insight into how and why Miller died, but did say he had a history of health problems.

The coroner says no foul play is suspected.
