Human remains found 120-miles apart in the Kentucky River were identified Friday as Goldia Massey, 50, of Lexington, according to the Jessamine County Coroner. Her death was ruled a homicide. She was reported missing in October.
The Jessamine County Coroner said Thamer Hassan, 41, of Lexington, had been dead about six hours before being discovered outside a business off of Main Street in Nicholasville on Tuesday morning. Investigators are waiting on autopsy results to help determine a cause and manner of death.
