Jennifer Brown anchors ABC 36 News Now’s 5, 5:30, 6, and 11 p.m. newscasts, delivering trusted, engaging coverage to viewers across Central Kentucky. A versatile and accomplished journalist, she brings several decades of on-air and producing experience from some of the nation’s top media outlets, including The New York Times, CNN, HLN, and The Weather Channel.

Jennifer is a graduate of the University of Southern California’s Annenberg School for Communication and Journalism, earning her Master’s with High Honors. She is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Communications at Liberty University and is a member of the Omega Nu Lambda National Honor Society.

Her strengths in writing, editing, producing, and reporting have earned her leadership roles in both national newsrooms and college classrooms. In addition to anchoring, Jennifer has taught broadcast journalism at several universities including Saint Louis University, helping shape the next generation of storytellers.

Jennifer is originally from the St. Louis area where she lived with her husband, their two wonderful kids, and two elderly dogs. She loves reading, staying active, and connecting with the community.
