Bevin not backing Paul’s presidential run

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – Republican candidate for governor, Matt Bevin, says he’s not backing his fellow Kentuckian, U.S. Senator Rand Paul, for president. All three candidates for governor appeared on a popular Kentucky sports radio show on Wednesday. Bevin says he would vote for GOP candidate Ben Carson. Bevin made that statement just minutes after his own campaign announced that Bevin would be campaigning with Paul on Saturday.

Democrat Jack Conway wouldn’t say who he would vote for and Independent candidate, Drew Curtis, says if elected, he wouldn’t be beholden to any political philosophy.
