Amelia Hassett drafted 35th overall to LA Sparks

NEW YORK, Ny. (ABC 36 NEWS NOW) – Amelia Hassett became the third Wildcat selected in the 2026 WNBA Draft on Monday night, going 35th overall to the Los Angeles Sparks.

The 6-foot-4 Australian played two seasons at Kentucky after transferring from Eastern Florida.

During the 2025-26 season, she averaged 10.5 points and 5.3 rebounds per game, shooting 39.7% from the field and 36.1% from 3-point range in 36 games.
