Kentucky SS Tyler Bell is out indefinitely

LEXINGTON, Ky. (ABC 36 NEWS NOW) – The Kentucky Wildcats will be without shortstop Tyler Bell for the forseeable future. The sophomore suffered a shoulder injury in the 7th inning of Friday’s opening day game.

Last season, in 226 plate appearances, Bell had a .296 batting average and a .907 OPS. He also recorded 67 hits with 10 home runs and 46 RBI’s. Bell also stole 11 bases as a freshman.

Kentucky baseball will finish up their opening series on Saturday against UNC Greensboro on Saturday.
