NCAA Final Four is set; No. 1 Kentucky to face No. 3 Wisconsin

KANSAS CITY, Mo. (ABC 36 SPORTS) – Kentucky volleyball will face third-seeded Wisconsin on Thursday night in the NCAA Volleyball Championship national semifinals. It will be the first time the two programs will see each other this season.

First serve is scheduled for approximately 9 p.m. ET, the game will air on ESPN.

The Wildcats advanced to the Final Four with a straight-sets victory over Creighton, while Wisconsin secured its spot by defeating top-seeded Texas in four sets Sunday night.

The Aggies advanced to the Final Four with a five-set victory over top-seeded Nebraska on Sunday. The Huskers had not lost a game all season.

The national semifinals and championship will be held at the T-Mobile Center in Kansas City, Mo.

Winners of Thursday’s matches will advance to Sunday afternoon’s national championship match.

Thursday, Dec. 18
Match 1 — 6:30 p.m. ET: No. 1 Pittsburgh vs. No. 3 Texas A&M (ESPN)
Match 2 — Approx. 9 p.m. ET: No. 1 Kentucky vs. No. 3 Wisconsin (ESPN)
Match 2 will begin approximately 30 minutes following the conclusion of Match 1.

Sunday, Dec. 21
National Championship — 3:30 p.m. ET: Winner of Match 1 vs. Winner of Match 2 (ABC)
