Kentucky wins third straight game over Tennessee Tech on Senior Day

LEXINGTON, Ky. (ABC 36 NEWS NOW) — The Kentucky Wildcats extended their winning streak to three games with a 42–10 win over Tennessee Tech on Senior Day. The Wildcats scored five rushing touchdowns, including three by Seth McGowan.

The Kentucky offense moved the ball with ease both through the air and on the ground. The Wildcats tallied over 200 yards in both facets and overpowered the Tennessee Tech defense throughout the game. Cutter Boley finished 18-of-21 for 236 yards and a passing touchdown, and he added a 30-yard rushing score. Senior wideout Kendrick Law also had his best day as a Wildcat, finishing with 11 catches for 124 yards and hauling in all of his targets.

The Kentucky defense also shined on Senior Day, allowing fewer than 300 yards of total offense against one of the highest-scoring teams in the FCS. Sophomore Cam Dooley recorded his first collegiate interception, and the defense continued its hot streak, allowing only 20 total points over the last three games.

The Wildcats will head to Nashville next week to take on the Vanderbilt Commodores. Kickoff is set for 3:30 p.m. EDT, with the TV designation still to be announced.
