LEXINGTON, Ky. (ABC 36 NEWS NOW) – The National Weather Service Storm Prediction Center has issued a Tornado Watch for eastern Kentucky, including much of the ABC 36 viewing area, effective Tuesday afternoon through 8:00 PM EDT.
This latest round of severe weather comes as a line of strong to severe thunderstorms pushes eastward across the region. Storms today are capable of producing damaging winds, hail, and even isolated tornadoes.
