2 sentenced in counterfeit cash case

POWELL CO., Ky. (WTVQ) – A Powell Co. couple is headed to prison after admitting to selling counterfeit money.

Timothy Ray Profitt and Amanda Profitt admitted they made $2,800 in fake money in 2013, and then sold it for less than its face value.  A judge sentenced them to 41 months in prison.  Under federal law, they have to serve 85 percent of their sentences.
