Yokohama adding jobs with expansion in Versailles

VERSAILLES, Ky. (WTVQ) – Yokohama Industries Americas in Versailles is adding 134-jobs in a $5.2 million expansion of its vehicle hose assembly plant, according to the governor’s office.

The expansion will add two new production lines at Yokohama’s Hose Division plant on Industry Drive.

Three-hundred people currently work at the plant that produces and distributes hose assemblies for vehicle air conditioning, power steering and transmission oil cooler systems.

Yokohama has two plants in Versailles.
