Work underway on $70 mil project in Somerset-Pulaski County

PULASKI COUNTY, Ky. (WTVQ) – Work on a $70 million project to help expand portions of Ky 80 and 461 in Pulaski County is underway.

According to Somerset-Pulaski Economic Development Authority (SPEDA), the project includes installing a cloverleaf interchange at the intersection of these highways. It expands Ky 461 to four lanes from the intersection to Buck Creek and also builds new entryways at Valley Oak Commerce Complex.

According to SPEDA, the project is crucial in increasing Somerset-Pulaski County’s economic development viability. The project is made possible through local, state and federal legislators and partners.
