Woodford County Addresses Heroin Problem

The spike in heroin use and related deaths across the Commonwealth brought a community together Tuesday night in Central Kentucky to talk about what to do about it.

Around 70 people turned out in Woodford County for the forum called ‘Time to Talk.’

Sheriff Wayne Wright says the turnout was much bigger than expected which means the message was spread to more people.

“It’s a community problem, they know people care,” said Woodford County Sheriff, Wayne Wright.

The forum was presented by the Woodford County Agency for Substance Abuse Policy.
