Woman Seriously Injured In Rollover Crash In Laurel County

A woman was seriously injured Tuesday afternoon when she lost control of the minivan she was driving, which rolled over and came to rest partially in a ditch and in the road on KY 3434 in Laurel County, according to Sheriff’s Deputies.

Investigators said Elizabeth Collier, 38, of Hodgenville, was airlifted from the scene to UK Hospital in Lexington.

Deputies said shortly after 5:00 p.m., the right front tire of the Chrysler Town & Country minivan she was driving dropped off  the road, which caused her to lose control of the vehicle, which rolled over before coming to rest back on all four wheels.

No other vehicles were involved, according to investigators.

The accident happened about five miles north of London.

The crash remained under investigation.
