Woman Left Homeless After House Fire

 A Lexington woman was left homeless following an overnight fire.
 Firefighters were called to the scene on Florida Street just before 11:30 p.m.
 The woman who lives there said she was getting ready for bed when she slipped and fell.
 She said she called a friend to help her up.
 When the friend arrived, they heard several "pops" and then saw flames coming from her bedroom.
 The friend helped the woman out of the home as the fire spread. 
  Firefighters were able to quickly knock out the flames but said the home was heavily damaged.
  Firefighters said the fire appears accidental but they are investigating.
