Woman hit by pickup truck in Lexington
LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – A woman was hit by a pickup truck Friday night while crossing at Richmond Road and Old Todds Road, according to Lexington Police.
It happened shortly after 8:30 p.m., according to police.
Investigators say the woman and a man, who were wearing dark clothing, were crossing the road when the driver of a Nissan Frontier pickup truck, turning left onto Richmond Road from Old Todds Road, didn’t see the two pedestrians and hit the woman.
She was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries, according to police.
Her name wasn’t released.
