Woman found dead in Bell County house fire

MIDDLESBORO, Ky.(WTVQ) – Investigators hope an autopsy scheduled for Thursday will help them determine the identity and cause of death for a woman who was found dead following an overnight fire.

The Middlesboro Daily News reports the fire happened on Parker Lane in Middlesboro around 3:00 a.m.

Investigators say the woman was the only person in the home.  A State Police arson investigator and the state Fire Marshal’s Office were called-in to investigate the cause of the fire.
