Woman charged in man’s shooting death

VERONA, Ky. (WTVQ) – A Verona woman was arrested and charged with murder following the shooting death of a man, according to State Police.

Investigators say they were dispatched to a home Tuesday night on Jacobs Ridge Road in Verona.  Troopers say when they arrived, they found 42-year old Robert Hiles shot to death.

36-year old Debra Hiles was arrested and charged with murder, according to KSP.

Investigators say she was first taken to an area hospital for a medical evaluation before being interviewed and ultimately lodged in the Carroll County Detention Center.
