Woman arrested for violent robbery on Augusta Drive

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) — Police have arrested a woman they say beat another woman with a baseball bat before stealing from her.

According to police, they were called to the parking lot of the Valero on Augusta Drive on November 1st.

They say they found a woman who had beat beaten with a baseball bat and had fractures to her arm and facial bones.

Police say 26-year-old Katelyn Berryman inflicted that damage on the victim, then stole a bag from her.

Berryman is now facing robbery charges.
