Woman accused of being intoxicated while caring for child

MARTIN COUNTY, Ky. (WTVQ) – A Martin County woman is accused of being intoxicated while caring for a toddler, according to sheriff’s deputies.

Investigators say Social Services received a complaint that a child was in the care of a woman who was under the influence.

Deputies responded with Social Services and say Carla Osborne showed signs of being intoxicated while caring for a three-year old child.

Social Services took the toddler.  Osborne was charged with public intoxication and endangering the welfare of a minor, according to deputies.
