Winchester PD mourns loss of retired detective

WINCHESTER, Ky. (WTVQ) – The Winchester Police Department has announced the death of former Detective Sergeant Mark Brown.

Sgt. Brown died after a hard-fought battle with cancer Monday afternoon.

In a Facebook post, the Winchester Police Department celebrated his years of service, and asked for prayers and support for his surviving wife, Janice, and his son, Nate.
