Winchester man accused of shooting neighbor’s dog
WINCHESTER, Ky. (WTVQ) – A Clark County man was arrested after being accused of shooting his neighbor’s dog with a pellet gun, according to an arrest citation.
67-year old Greg Groen, of Winchester, was charged with animal torture and lodged in the Clark County Detention Center Tuesday, according to the jail website.
The arrest citation says the dog’s owner told investigators that Groen had threatened his dog several times in the past, and shot the animal while driving by in a car last November. The dog survived.
