Winchester Constable charged with drug trafficking

WINCHESTER, Ky. (WTVQ) – A Clark Co. Constable is behind bars, facing a charge of drug trafficking, according to The Winchester Sun.

According to the newspaper, an arrest citation says that an informant purchased oxycodone pills from 52-year-old Glenn Witt with marked bills on Wednesday.  Deputies later stopped Witt and found the marked money on him.

The Clark Co. Sheriff says that rumors about Witt’s involvement in selling drugs had been making the rounds for a few months, according to The Winchester Sun.

Witt was taken to the Clark Co. Detention Center.
