Williamsburg doctor arrested for practicing without a license

WILLIAMSBURG, Ky. (WTVQ) – Police in Williamsburg arrested a man on Monday they say was practicing medicine without a license.

Officers say they learned that 50-year-old Shawn Hudson was practicing medicine at Preferred Health Care in Williamsburg in violation of an order by the Kentucky Board of Medical Licensure.  They say a warrant was issued on Hudson back in November, with Hudson being officially served in December.

Hudson was arrested on January 11 and taken to the Whitley Co. Detention Center on the charge of practicing medicine/osteopathy without a license.
